Police crack blind murder case


KARACHI:

Police have unraveled the mystery behind a blind murder in the Qasimabad area of Liaquatabad.

On January 2, police discovered the body of an unidentified man inside a house in Qasimabad, within the jurisdiction of Liaquatabad police station.

The deceased, identified as Ghousul Hassan, son of Abul Hassan, had sustained an injury on the backside of his head.

Following the grisly discovery, police shifted the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and registered a murder case on the complaint by Ali Hassan, the son of the deceased, against a woman and her son.

Utilising a combination of human intelligence and technical expertise, police apprehended the accused.

Investigation revealed that the accused Hina had an extramarital affair with Ghousul Hassan. On January 2, the deceased was present at her residence.

During an altercation, Hamza, the 17-year-old son of Hina, hit an heavy object on Ghousul Hassan’s head in a fit of rage, resulting in his instant death.

Hina and her son Hamza fled the scene after the fatal stabbing.

Police cracked the mystery by arresting the mother-son duo, handing them over to the investigation police for further proceedings.
