LAHORE: MD Wasa Ghafran Ahmed said that all the directors should take unconditional action against the defaulters and tighten the clamp around all the defaulting housing societies. He issued these directions while chairing an important meeting at Wasa Head Office on Saturday.
All the directors of operation and revenue wings participated in the meeting in which detailed review of revenue, desalination operation, energy, fuel and medical usage was done. MD Wasa Ghafran Ahmed said that all the directors should ensure the saving of electricity and kept strict monitoring in their towns. In this regard, special saving in the use of fuel and energy was emphasised.
In addition, MD Wasa Ghafran Ahmed said that the sewage desalination operation should be strictly implemented. The public representatives of the concerned constituencies should be involved in monitoring the desalination schedule, he said.
