Bengaluru:
Four people were injured in an explosion at a cafe in Bengaluru’s Kundalahalli today, the police said.
The police said they are trying to find out what caused the explosion at The Rameshwaram Cafe, a popular restaurant in the neighbourhood.
Three of the injured people are employees of the cafe, the police said.
Initial investigation can’t determine whether it was a massive short-circuit or a gas cylinder explosion.
There was no fire after the explosion, sources said, adding it doesn’t look like a cooking gas cylinder explosion. Police are checking whether it was a gas pipeline leak, they said.
A forensics team is at the cafe.
