Nikki Haley got an unexpected question at a New Hampshire rally Monday when a pro-Trump heckler interrupted her speech to ask: “Will you marry me?”
The GOP presidential contender, 52, was talking to her supporters at the Artisan Hotel in Salem about what’s at stake in the upcoming election on the eve of the New Hampshire primary, when the man shouted the impromptu marriage proposal from the crowd, drawing laughter from Haley.
Without missing a beat, the former South Carolina governor, who is married to Maj. Michael Haley, responded to the tongue-in-cheek offer by asking her suitor if he would vote for her.
“I’m voting for Trump,” the man replied after a brief pause, drawing jeers from his fellow rally attendees.
“Oh, get out of here!” an unimpressed Haley shot back

Haley desperately needs to pull off a win in New Hampshire, where she is the only Republican candidate running against Donald Trump, 77, after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis suspended his campaign last week.
When DeSantis exited the primary race after coming in second in the Iowa caucuses, ahead of Haley, he endorsed the former president — and attacked Haley, claiming that she represents “a repackaged form of warmed-over corporatism.”
Trump, 77, has maintained a wide lead over Haley in New Hampshire in most polls, coming off a 30-point victory in Iowa.
In a Monday interview with Fox News, Haley argued that it’s “slow and steady” that wins the race.
“At some point y’all are gonna to realize that I won this race and you’re going to have to accept when I say I told you so,” she said. “It is slow and steady wins the race.”
