PPP vows to safeguard Balochistan’s rights


QUETTA:

Central leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and former opposition leader in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah, reiterated his party’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the rights of the people of Balochistan.

Speaking at a press conference in Quetta, Shah, along with PPP Balochistan leaders including former chief minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Ali Madad Jattak, Mir Changaiz Jamali, and others, emphasised the party’s dedication to ensuring the provision of all constitutional rights to the local inhabitants, despite the challenges they may face.

“We stand for the people of Balochistan and will protect their rights at all costs,” asserted Shah, underscoring the PPP’s resilience in championing the cause of the Balochistan populace. He acknowledged that the party had sought pardon from the people of Balochistan in the past, pledging continued efforts to address their concerns if voted to power.

Regarding the recent entry of electables in the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) ranks, Khursheed Shah commented, “We have allowed the PML-N to play the innings.”

He hinted at a strategic comeback, stating that the PPP is patiently waiting for the right time to make a significant impact.
