IPL 2024 Retention Day News Live: Amid rumours of his return to Mumbai Indians, Hardik Pandya has been retained by Gujarat Titans ahead of next month’s mini auction. On the other hand, KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant have been retained by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Delhi Capitals (DC), respectively. Meanwhile, Shardul Thakur was one of the 12 players released by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). As expected, SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) parted ways with England batter Harry Brook, having only bought him ahead of last season for a whopping sum of 13.25 crore. Mumbai Indians released England pacer Jofra Archer ahead of the auction. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) made some shocking releases as the likes of Josh Hazlewood, Wanindu Hasaranga and Harshal Patel were let go off by the franchise.
