The Korangi Industrial Area police have apprehended three suspected murderers of a man and his young daughter and recovered the murder weapon from their possession.
The spokesperson for the SSP Investigation identified the arrested suspects as Tariq, also known as Karaila, Farooq, and Zohaib. So far this year, the number of casualties resulting from resistance during robbery attempts has risen to 115. On September 24, 2023, the suspects shot and killed an official of a government security agency, Tahir Zaman, and his two-year-old daughter, Anam Gul, during a robbery attempt. The tragic incident, which took place near Chamra Chowrangi in the ADM Company area, involved six robbers on two motorcycles.

Zaman managed to overpower one of the robbers, leading to a fatal response from his accomplices, resulting in the deaths of Zaman and his young daughter. Of the three arrested suspects, two hail from Sindh, while the third belongs to South Punjab. They frequently visited Karachi to engage in street crimes before returning to their hometowns.
