The principal of a government school in Karachi’s Saudabad was arrested on Monday following allegations of harassment by a tenth-grade student, Express News reported.
The incident came to light after the victim’s father initially filed a complaint with a senior official from the education department. However, no action was taken, prompting the aggrieved father to turn to the police, divulging the accused principal’s alleged misconduct.
In response to the complaint, the police swiftly initiated action and took the accused into custody.

According to the police, the girl’s father accused the principal of engaging in inappropriate behaviour with his students. He asserted that the principal consistently sought opportunities to engage in inappropriate physical contact with students.
The complainant claimed that on numerous occasions, the accused principal was observed holding the waist and hands of female students.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Korangi, Hassan Sardar Niazi, said that a case had been registered against the principal following the complaint, and an investigation is underway.
