One of the most popular fashion houses in Pakistan, Suffuse by Sana Yasir, made a thrilling announcement recently when they unveiled the face of their latest Bridal Couture ’23 campaign as none other than the Bollywood starlet Sobhita Dhulipala.
Shot against an expansive landscape of sand dunes, the campaign featured Sobhita dressed in an elegant all-white lehnga-choli ensemble paired beautifully with a long, sheer veil in some shots.
The unveiling took place on Suffuse’s official Instagram account when a picture of Sobhita sitting, posing with poise, and looking serene was posted to the atleier’s profile for their 759 K followers to see.
“Unveiling an exquisite palette for new beginnings, brought to life by the luminous Sobhita Dhulipala. Suffuse International proudly presents our meticulously crafted narrative—a fusion of elegance and heritage, a testament to our partnership,” read the caption of the announcement post.
Sobhita’s close-up was preceded by a birds-eye-view shot of a lady clad in white standing on a winding trail amongst the dunes, in which it was difficult to tell who the chosen muse was. The popular designer bridal boutique kept up the suspense for a whole day before initiating the gran reveal.
It’s not every day that a Pakistani designer lands a collaboration with a Bollywood star, so the unveiling was met with a lot of love from Pakistani Made in Heaven fans and followers of the brand, in addition to other Instagram users.
With art direction done by director and production designer Hashim Ali, the campaign and resulting photographs are bound to capture more appreciation and love as they are all gradually posted to social media.
Hashim also took to his Instagram to share some before-the-shoot pictures with the emerging star, as well as some official photos from the shoot. “While watching @madeinheaventv and laughing and crying throughout it during my multi-times binge watching it. I never in a million years thought that I would be shooting with the phenomenal @sobhitad. And not only just that but working with some fo the most talented people and wonderful humans,” wrote the creative as a reflection on this special moment in his career.
Along with Hashim Ali, creative head of Suffuse, Sana Yasir, also recruited talented stylist Mehek Saeed as part of her dream team for the launch of her much-anticipated 2023 bridal campaign and collection.
As of now, only one of the looks from Sobhita’s multiple-outfits photoshoot have been shared on the fashion house’s Instagram profile.
