As Timothée Chalamet and Bad Bunny embark on romances with Kylie and Kendall Jenner (respectively) we have to ask: Can we carefully pad the “Call Me By Your Name” actor and “Soy Peor” rapper in bubble wrap, please?
Seriously, fans are concerned that the infamous “Kardashian Curse” will strike down Chalamet and Bad Bunny (whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) during their prime. And with good reason.
The “Kardashian Curse” has wreaked havoc on nearly all of the men the KarJenner clan date and/or marry.
“Their life kind of just goes downhill,” conceded Kylie during a June 2016 episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
Let’s hope that’s not the case with Chalamet, 27, who was nominated for an Oscar in 2018 and has made smart choices in his career.
But here’s the good news for Chalamet’s devoted fanbase.
This isn’t his first rodeo!

The “Dune” star has locked lips with famous nepo-babies before, including Lourdes Leon and Lily-Rose Depp.
And we’re hoping Chalamet navigates his affair with Kylie — however long it lasts — as seamlessly as he’s ascended to the peak of Hollywood stardom.
Bad Bunny, 29, seems to be in a more precarious situation.

Not only has he been more visible with Kendall, including during last weekend’s buzzy Coachella, but he’s recently exiting a five-year relationship with singer and jewelry designer Gabriela Berlingeri.
Historically, relationships begun on the rebound — Lamar with Khloe, for instance — have been the kiss of death for KarJenner’s victims.
And last month Bad Bunny was sued by another former girlfriend, Carliz De La Cruz Hernández, for $40 million over a voice recording she provided the singer before he became famous.
In fact, not many paramours have escaped the KarJenner vortex unscathed.
Just take a look at their track record.
On the low end of the scale? Emasculation.

While Gamble is still in the picture, most of the sisters’ beaus have ended up with their reputations in tatters, insolvent, or a laughingstock.
Not since the Gabor sisters have we seen such romantic repercussions!
It seemingly all started with Kim Kardashian’s lesser-known first husband, Damon Thomas.
A music producer for Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé, in 2000, Thomas met the 19-year-old daughter of lawyer Robert Kardashian (who, at the time, was the only famous Kardashian), and the two quickly eloped.
During their three-year marriage, Kim claimed he was controlling and physically abusive, which Thomas has denied.

Since then, Thomas has been plagued by money woes including filing for bankruptcy in 2012 and being evicted from his home.
You’ll definitely remember the name Ray J, Brandy’s younger brother, whose 2002 sex tape with Kim catapulted her into stardom.
Today, that’s mainly what he’s known for, despite being a singer and actor.
Then there’s the athletes: NFL star Reggie Bush, who won the Heisman Trophy and a Super Bowl ring, dated Kardashian on and off from 2007 to 2010 but saw his football career fizzle after their breakup.

Kris Humphries was once a rising NBA star.
But after his splashy 2011 marriage to Kardashian dissolved in a mere 72 days, his basketball career plummeted.
Twelve years later, he’s an easy punchline.
Khloe Kardashian has also tripped up a few basketball players in her time, including former husband Lamar Odom (who nearly died from an overdose at a Nevada brothel), James Harden (who suffered a bad basketball streak while they were dating), and Tristan Thompson (the father of her two children who is now universally regarded as a serial cheater).

This reputation-destroying rampage that happens after a KarJenner dalliance seems to afflict athletes, singers, and celebrities alike.
Take Kanye West.
While I have zero sympathies for his blatant antisemitism, the outspoken rapper reached new lows during his marriage and subsequent divorce from Kim Kardashian.
In 2022, Ye managed to get canceled, boycotted, and dropped by brands like Adidas, The Gap, and Balenciaga, losing an estimated $1.5 billion over the scandal.

Kylie’s relationship with Travis Scott, father of her two children, also made headlines for the wrong reason, when ten people were trampled to death and hundreds were injured during Scott’s Astroworld concert in 2021.
The family, while resolutely committed to each other, treats its men more like seasonal accessories than equal partners.
No one is saying these women are purposely hurtful or dangerous. But they’re first and foremost looking out for themselves.
Perhaps an intervention is needed, with all the KarJenner exes chiming in as cautionary tales.
At the very least, it would garner better ratings for Hulu than the current incarnation of “KUWTK.”
