How To Remove Yellow Stains From Crockeries – Easy Tips

Good food equals a good mood. But there are many factors other than food that make for a pleasant culinary experience. For example, the dining table decor, crockeries and so on. With their lively colours and designs, crockeries lift our spirits and make food look more appetising. However, after a certain period of time, our crockery turns yellow due to oil stains which ruin our entire experience. Well, no! That’s not the solution! You can remove those yellow stains and bring back the beauty of your favourite crockery – all you have to do is to use the right techniques and ingredients. Here are 5 Easy Tips To Clean Yellow Stains From Crockeries:

1. Use Vinegar And Salt

Does vinegar remove yellow stains? Yes, it does. Take a large mixing bowl, add a cup of vinegar, 1/2 cup of salt and water, and combine well. Once done, place your plates or spoons inside the bowl and wait until half an hour. After it, take them out and rinse them under cold water. At last, pat dry with a clean microfibre cloth. Ps: make sure your bowl is large enough to soak the plates and other crockeries.

2. Use Baking Soda

In a mixing bowl, combine a cup of water and two tbsp of baking soda. Mix well and apply this paste to the stained yellow area with a soft-bristled brush. Wait 25 minutes before washing with clean water.

3. Lemon Juice

For this technique, take a mixing bowl, and add 2 tbsp of lemon juice and some water. Apply this paste to the stained area by using a soft-bristled brush. Let it soak the stain for about 20-25 mins. Clean it by using a cloth. Since lemons are naturally acidic, they can quickly remove stains.

4. Hot Water

In a bucket of hot water, carefully submerge the stained crockeries. Give it a rest for 30 minutes. The stains will be removed with hot water. Take your crockery out after the water has cooled down and pat it dry with a fresh microfibre cloth.

5. Milk Soaking Technique

Take a large utensil that can easily hold your crockery and pour the warm milk into it. Check that the milk is not too hot. Now let the dishes soak in the milk overnight, making sure they are completely submerged inside the utensil. Simply remove the dishes the following day, wash them with mild dish soap, and dry them with a towel. Milk is an excellent natural cleanser that can restore the lustre of your crockery.
