The video was shared on Instagram by the popular page @goodnewsdog, and was originally shot by @ravenallender. “84-year-old woman gets emotional after birthday shoutout at her favourite restaurant,” said the caption to the post. The clip has already received 9.4 million views and 1.8 million likes in a short span of time.

In the clip, we could see the old lady, named Rosie, getting a special birthday wish from the staff at her favourite restaurant. “We have a special guest Rosie celebrating her 84th birthday with us,” announced the staff. In a matter of seconds, Rosie burst out into tears and got extremely emotional at the special wish. The adorable octogenarian gave a bright smile and thanked the restaurant for their wishes.
Internet users were touched by the restaurant’s heartfelt gesture and how much Rosie liked it. Seeing the 84-year-old’s emotional reaction moved the internet to tears. “That is so cute. Happy 84th birthday to Rosie,” said one user in the comments while another wrote, “That’s so sweet bless her heart”. “So nice to feel cared about. People forget about older people,” wrote another user.
