Land mafia encroaches on Malir graveyard land
KARACHI:

The Sindh High Court (SHC) heard a petition in regards to the land mafia’s profession of a cemetery in Malir.

The petitioner’s recommend, Usman Farooq Advocate, said {that a} politically well-connected and influential crew used to be systematically encroaching at the land of an historical graveyard which spreads over 52 acres.

Builders have already began unlawful structures within the graveyard positioned within the Shah Latif Town.

The petitioner claimed that illegal profession is being performed in connivance with the native management. The Deputy Commissioner had written a letter to the Assistant Commissioner to finish the profession.

After listening to the petitioner’s stance, the courtroom notified the provincial govt, DC Malir and others and sought their reaction inside 4 weeks.

The SHC ordered the Deputy Commissioner East to put up a file in session with the Additional Advocate General on a petition towards the unlawful profession of 404 plots in Block-6 of Gulistan-e-Jauhar.

A two-member SHC bench headed through Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi listening to the petition expressed indignation over the KDA officers for failing to finish the unlawful profession. Justice Rizvi stated DC is attempting to move the dollar. The plots of the schemes introduced 44 years in the past may now not be given to the unique house owners, the courtroom seen.
