Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb says media confronted unheard of gags all the way through final regime of Imran Khan and now he’s deceptive the country within the title media freedom.
Talking to media in Islamabad on Thursday, she mentioned reporters’ organizations condemned movements of Imran Khan’s govt towards media. She mentioned those organizations termed Imran Khan as press freedom predator.
She mentioned reporters like Absar Alam, Matiullah Jan, Asad Toor, Nusrat Javed, Ghareeda Farooqui, Asma Shirazi, Amber Shamsi, Talat Hussain, Iftikhar Ahmed, Najam Sethi, Murtaza Solangi and Dr. Danish had been banned all the way through PTI’s govt.
The Minister mentioned PTI govt attempted to introduce a black legislation ‘Media Regulatory Authority’ to curb the liberty of speech.
She mentioned PTI govt used National Accountability Bureau for political victimization.
She mentioned Imran Khan must provide himself in Election Commission of Pakistan in overseas investment case.
