President Dr. Arif Alvi has licensed the appointment of Syed Mehdi Shah as new Governor Gilgit-Baltistan.
The approval was once given on the recommendation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif below phase 33 of Gilgit-Baltistan Order 2018.
Dr. Alvi had approved the resignation of Raja Jalal Hussain on June 24, 2022.
