In a video that went viral on social media on Friday, two hostages had been tortured by means of dacoits who had abducted them and demanded a ransom of Rs 4.5 million from their households.
Using ladies’s voices, the dacoits ‘honeytrapped’ their sufferers and held them in chains. They then pressured the sufferers to beg their households to pay the ransom cash and safe their free up.
Under torture, the hostages agreed to pay the quantities.
The incident came about after Senior Superintendent of Police Ghotki Tanveer Tunio introduced an operation towards the dacoits within the house. Sources within the police claimed {that a} gang of dacoits working within the riverine house (Katcha house) adjoining to Raunti and Adam Jo Mindo have taken a couple of folks hostage.
