CNN pulls plug on Trump spokesperson — just days before network set to host first presidential debate

CNN abruptly cut Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt from the air Monday morning — just days before the network is set to host the first presidential debate.

Anchor Kasie Hunt interrupted Leavitt and pulled the plug mid-interview after the spokeswoman started trying to talk about fellow CNN host Jake Tapper.

“Ma’am, we’re going to stop right there if you’re going to keep attacking my colleagues,” Hunt said.
“I would like to talk about Joe Biden and Donald Trump, who you work for.”

When Leavitt tried to speak up and noted she was “stating facts”, Hunt repeatedly drowned her out.

“I’m sorry guys … Karoline thank you very much for your time. You’re welcome to come back at anytime,” Hunt suddenly declared.

“She is welcome to come back and speak about Donald Trump.”
