Don’t you agree? But now, the fusion trend has hit the street snacks too. We are talking about samosa served with macaroni stuffing. Oh yes, you read that right. A video shared on Instagram has been garnering a lot of attention. It showcased a unique twist, replacing the traditional potato filling inside samosas with macaroni. The video was shared with the caption, “Kaha gaya aloo ko dhundho.” (Where did the potato go? Find it.)

The video clocked more than 7 million views on Instagram. Samosa lovers left no stone unturned in sharing their disappointment. Food delivery platform Swiggy also dropped a comment under the post. It read, “kuch toh sharam karo janaab (Have some shame)”
A person wrote, “Lagta hai kisi ne samose ko baddua di hogi (It seems as if someone had cursed samosa)”.
Another added, “Yeh yaar humari favourite chizon ko hi kyun target kar rahe hai (Why are they targeting our favourite dishes only?)”.
Some came up with Bollywood references too. Connecting it with the hit 90s number Samose Mein Aaloo from the film Mr. & Mrs. Khiladi, a user wrote, “Arre iska matlab Shalu ka boyfriend Shalu ko chhor diya kya? Kyuki usne promise kiya tha, jab tak rahega samose me aaloo, mai tera rahunga o meri shalu. (Does this mean Shalu’s boyfriend left him? Because he promised, as long as there are potatoes in samosas, he will be by Shalu’s side)”. Another user added, “Akshay Kumar crying in the corner”.
One person commented, “This tastes awesome, not every experiment fails!”
Echoing a similar sentiment, another said, “Macaroni stuffed samosas are good in taste. At least I like it”.
