Ahead of Independence Day, the Bhatsa Dam, which provides water to Mumbai and surrounding spaces, has been lit up within the colors of the nationwide flag.
According to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, the dam in Maharashtra’s Thane was once adorned with tricolour lighting fixtures as a part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranaga‘ marketing campaign that was once introduced via Prime Minister Narendra Modi again in July.
“Our love for the Nation is unmatchable and it is past any obstacles,” the ministry stated whilst sharing visuals of the “magnificently illuminated” Bhatsa Dam.
