The Trinamool Congress govt in West Bengal will “stop to exist” by way of December, and meeting elections shall be held within the state at the side of the Lok Sabha polls in 2024, chief of opposition Suvendu Adhikari claimed on Tuesday.
Speaking to newshounds in Tamluk in Purba Medinipur district, Mr Adhikari stated the level is being set for the removing of the TMC govt from the state.
“Wait for a couple of months, this govt will stop to be in energy in West Bengal. Mark my phrases, by way of December this yr, TMC is probably not in energy in West Bengal. The meeting ballot and parliamentary elections shall be held concurrently in 2024 in West Bengal,” the BJP chief claimed.
Over the previous couple of months, Mr Adhikari has time and again claimed that there can be a Maharashtra-like state of affairs within the opposition-ruled states of Jharkhand, Rajasthan and West Bengal.
His feedback drew sharp reactions from the TMC, which accused the BJP of engineering the revolt in Shiv Sena and toppling the Uddhav Thackeray-led govt in Maharashtra.
“If he can foresee issues, why could not he expect and prevent the new political happenings in Bihar? It turns out that out of frustration in politics, he has began practicing astrology,” state minister Chandrima Bhattacharya of the TMC stated.
“Any such makes an attempt by way of the BJP to topple the state govt in West Bengal can be given a befitting answer,” she stated.
